Workshop on Digital Portfolio

A Workshop on Creating a Digital Portfolio was organized by the Faculty of Education on 14^th November 2025 with the objective of equipping teacher trainees with essential digital skills to effectively present their professional journey. The session was conducted by Dr. Nandkishor Pimpalkar, who highlighted the importance of digital portfolios in today’s technology-driven educational environment and explained how a well-structured portfolio reflects a teacher’s competencies, achievements, creativity, and professional growth. Participants were introduced to key aspects of portfolio development, including selecting relevant academic and professional content, organizing lesson plans, certificates, teaching aids, and reflective writings, and using digital platforms such as Google Sites and Canva to design interactive portfolios. The workshop also emphasized integrating multimedia elements like images, videos, presentations, and hyperlinks to enhance presentation quality. Through hands-on activities, 52 teacher trainees actively created and structured their own portfolios under expert guidance. The program concluded with an interactive Question & Answer session, enabling participants to clarify their doubts and gain confidence in using digital tools. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Nandkishor Pimpalkar and Mr. Dhrumil Rajyaguru, and it proved to be highly informative and beneficial in strengthening the digital literacy and professional readiness of future educators.
