Bachelor of Education - B.Ed. :

Bachelor of Education [B.Ed.] course is an undergraduate professional degree that prepares students to work as teachers in schools. The B.Ed. degree is necessary for teaching at various school levels ( from classes 1 to 12). Formerly often referred to as Bachelor of Training [BT] or in some universities as ‘Siksha Shastri’, the course duration is now of 2 years. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is the statutory body that regulates teacher training courses in India

Admission Criteria :

45% in Graduation for Reserved Category students and 50% in Graduation for General Category students.

M.Phil. (Education) :

M.Phil in Education is 1 year post graduate course. Admission to which shall be made on the basis of satisfactory performance at the Master’s Degree Examination and the performance in an entrance test conducted by the University. The course is an intermediate Degree between the first Post-Graduate Degree and the Doctorate Degree.

Ph.D. (Education) :

Ph.D. in Education is a 3-6 year course, the minimum eligibility for which is a postgraduate course in Education. Admissions are given on the basis of performance in primary Scrutiny Test followed up by Proposal Presentation and Viva by expert committee
