Bachelor of Education [B.Ed.] course is an undergraduate professional degree that prepares students to work as teachers in schools. The B.Ed. degree is necessary for teaching at various school levels ( from classes 1 to 12). Formerly often referred to as Bachelor of Training [BT] or in some universities as \u2018Siksha Shastri\u2019, the course duration is now of 2 years. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is the statutory body that regulates teacher training courses in India<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
